Storytelling is a team sport, and as an operator I feel incredibly lucky to play a part in bringing those stories to life through framing and movement. It's a job which is both creative and technical, and I love that each project brings a new set of challenges. But above all, my favourite thing about this job is the people. From all walks of life and each with their own unique story to tell, that's what really makes it all worthwhile.

 

I have over 10 years experience in the film and tv industry, and have been lucky enough to do commercial work for brands like DIOR, McDonalds and Irn Bru. Some notable dramas I've worked on include Shetland, Outlander and Vigil. I've done music promos for the likes of Biffy Clyro, Headie One and The Snuts, and in the past few years have developed a special interest in dance camerawork having my Steadicam as a dance partner on 8 shorts and 3 features with Scottish Ballet. I also work as a DP on documentaries and have my own Sony FX6 kit. I love to travel and have experience working internationally.
